- Aims:

To discuss inorganic 'open shell' compounds, including synthesis, characterisation and applications of paramagnetic inorganic species. A number of examples including advanced electron paramagnetic resonance applications in homogeneous catalysis, bioinorganic chemistry and biophysics will be discussed.
