Announcement of free access supported by the EPSRC
 

We are pleased to announce that an EPSRC grant has been awarded to the Electron Microscopy Laboratory in School of Chemistry, University of St Andrews. This allows external users from UK universities to use the facility, free of charge, in the next four years starting from 1 October, 2007. We have allocated one day a week of the TEM and SEM time for this service.

Other Services

All microscopes are available for use by any university and industry.
Each machine has three booking slots per day (morning, afternoon and evening).
This electron microscope facility is a multiuser facility so TEM and SEM training is available for anyone willing to learn.
Experienced staff are also available to run the machines for the untrained individuals.
