Iain is in the third and final year of an BSc degree. Iain’s final year project concerns the structure and properties of Scandium sites in framework solids and is jointly supervised by Dr Paul Wright. Iain is working on the synthesis and characterization of new Sc-containing materials alongside the calculation of 45Sc NMR parameters from first principles.
