How to Join

Ph.D.

Funding is relatively straightforward if you are a UK or EU Ph.D applicant and you can be supported by EPSRC or BBSRC Studentships which usually commence in October. You generally need an MChem or 2(1) degree or equivalent (eg DEA from France) to qualify for such Studentships. If you are an overseas (non EU) Ph.D applicant you generally need your own Government Scholarship as funds are not available from UK or EU sources. If you are interested in a Ph.D in the group please make contact.

POSTDOCTORAL WORKERS AND ACADEMIC VISITORS

Research Council (EPSRC, BBSRC) funded positions are advertised when they become available. If you are interested in spending time as a Research Visitor or Fellow in the laboratory and your interests match those of the group, then we would like to hear from you. You will however need to have some level of funding to support your stay, although we can help support your application for an appropriate Fellowship.
